Ala-Too Square

The Square was built in 1984 and was known as Lenin Square. After 1991, Kyrgystan gained its independence from the USSR and the statue of Manas then replaced it.


Nature Attractions in Bishkek

Ala-Archa Gorge

The national park is in the Tien Shan Mountains of Kyrgystan, one of the most famous attractions among the tourists. The park comprises over 50 mountain peaks and 20 large and small glaciers.


Issyk-Kul Lake

This is the seventh deepest lake in the world in the northern Tien Shan Mountains. By volume, it is also the tenth largest lake in the world.


Alamedin Gorge

This spot is an amazing place known for its hot springs and has a very famous resort known as “Teplie Klyuchi”. There is an amazing waterfall located just 5 kilometers from the end of Bishkek.


Konorchek Canyons

The canyon is located in the eastern part of Kyrgyzstan range in the middle of the Tian Shan Mountains. It is known for the remains of the ancient volcano Seghizan Shokny.


Issyk-Ata Gorge

Ski Complex Chunkurchak

It is a modern ski complex with five lift chairs that trails over 10 kilometers. It is located in Bishkek and a good family place for skiing both as experienced and first-timer skiers.


Chon-Kurchak Gorge


Too-Ashu Pass

It is a mountain pass which is located 120 km away from Bishkek and goes over the range of the Tien Shan Mountains. There’s a tunnel that enters the mountain on the north side and comes out on the south side of the mountain.


Ak-Sai Glacier

It is a beautiful gorge that has the majestic mountains of the Kyrgyz Ala Too offering the best hiking, trailing, rock and ice climbing experience. There are about 150 routes up the glacier with four base camps within the gorge.


Korona Peak

It is one of the most spectacular peaks in the country and at the top of Ak Sai Glacier. Its rock walls range from 700 to 900 meters tall.

Ethno-Complex Supara

It is an interesting complex that was built by Tabyldy Egemberdiev and designed by his wife to depict the traditional nomadic Kyrgyzstan lifestyle. The complex is made by using only natural materials like wood, clay, straw, and stone.


Panfilov Park

It is a city memorial that holds the name of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Ivan Panfilov. It was built in the shape of a star and first opened in 1944.

Burana Tower Bishkek

It is a large minaret with grave makers, earthworks and remnants of the castle established by the end of the 9th century. It comprises an external staircase that enables visitors to climb to the top.
